Job Summary:

The Innkeeper's Assistant supports the daily operations of the inn, ensuring guests have a comfortable and memorable stay. Responsibilities include guest services, basic administrative tasks, and supporting the innkeeper in maintaining a warm and welcoming atmosphere on property that reflects the Inn’s charm and standards. Readiness to pitch in whenever needed especially during peak times and emergencies.

Key Responsibilities:

●      Greet guests warmly upon arrival, assist with check-ins and check-outs
●      Provide concierge-style services such as local recommendations
●      Help maintain cleanliness and order in guest rooms and common areas
●      Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests or concerns
●      Monitor supply levels and inform manager of inventory needs
●      Ensure all public spaces are tidy and welcoming
●      Perform light administrative tasks (answer phone
●      Assist with social media related to guest communications and promotions
●      Monitor property security- doors locked, lights turned on/ off
●      Perform light administrative tasks.
●      Coordinate with vendors when needed
●      Assist with special events and seasonal promotions

Qualifications:

●      Familiarity with booking systems is a plus and basic computer skills a must
●      Friendly, professional demeanor with strong interpersonal skills
●      Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment
●      Comfortable with light cleaning and physical tasks (lifting, standing, etc.)
●      Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
●      High school diploma or equivalent required
●      Prior hospitality or customer service experience preferred
●      Trustworthy with attention to detail

Work Schedule:

●      Wednesday- Sunday. Hours vary daily.
●      On-call availability may be required during peak seasons

Compensation:

●      $18-$22/ hr based on experience

20-30 hours per week
